Why I reject the Shakespearean 'heresies'
English Professor Robert Englert takes the editor up on her proposal that he weigh in on the question of whether Edward de Vere, XVIIth Earl of Oxford might be the real author of Shakespeare's works. He explains why he finds the establishment view against de Vere completely convincing.
The problem of unjust conditions in Catholic organizations
In spite of their explicit aim of promoting Catholic orthodoxy, alumna Regina Doman-Schmiedicke charges that many thriving Catholic apostolates fail to implement Church social teaching when it comes to treatment of their own workers.
The value of leadership development seminars
Alumnus David Schmiesing disagrees with Kathleen van Schaijik's critique of 'Leadership Development Programs,' arguing that while some may be worse than not good, others can be extremely beneficial.
